The normalization factor ensures the total value of all riders remains constant. Every time a rider is purchased, the rider value increases with 100,- euro. Without correction, prices of all riders will inflate, making it much harder on players entering the game later in the season. Furthermore, a rider that is viewed as too expensive will not be picked often, which will drive the price down and make the price more attractive. This is the reason prices are corrected by what we call the normalization factor.
